Introducing - StoriiCare Payment Processing!
We're thrilled to announce the release of Payment Processing on StoriiCare. This is an incredibly exciting feature that we are proud to bring to our clients. We'll be iterating on this feature rapidly in the coming months, so please share any feedback you have with our team!
StoriiCare Payments is a full payment solution, allowing StoriiCare clients to collect payments promptly from around the world. Payments can be made online (paid through StoriiCare Invoices via Credit Card, Debit Card or Bank Transfer) or offline (entered by staff for payments made outside StoriiCare, such as checks or cash).
Supported Payment Methods
StoriiCare has partnered with Stripe for payment processing, enabling us to accept all major credit cards, debit cards and bank payments.This partnership ensures a wide range of payment options for our users.

➡ Billing Plans
'Billing Plans' is a new feature within StoriiCare's Billing section, designed to empower users with the ability to generate invoices quickly using pre-set rules. This feature efficiently harnesses data from various sources across the StoriiCare platform, streamlining the overall billing process.
Why use Billing Plans?
Billing Plans is designed to assist billers throughout their billing cycle, whether it's monthly or bi-monthly, by facilitating the creation of client invoices. This feature significantly reduces time and effort by automatically calculating tailored rates and attendance charges, aligned with each Service User's unique configuration for the specified period. Additionally, it offers billers the convenience of previewing and editing invoice contents before finalizing them, ensuring accuracy and customization in every billing instance.
How do I get started?
Prior to using Billing Plans, you must first ensure that Services are set up on StoriiCare. Billing Plans are in part informed by Services, and if a Service User/Participant is not eligible for a Service, Billing Plans will not generate any Invoices for them. You can reach out to our support team if you need help setting up Services on StoriiCare.
To get started, select the 'Billing Plans' tab within the Billing Section on StoriiCare.
To create a Billing Plan, select the 'Add new' square.
Users have the flexibility to create an unlimited number of Billing Plans, tailored to their specific needs. These plans can be utilized to generate invoices for clients, offering the option to charge either in arrears or in advance, catering to a variety of billing preferences.

➡ Digital Signage V2
We're excited to announce significant design enhancements and the addition of key new features to our Digital Signage solution. Our digital signage displays are now proudly displayed at hundreds of client locations worldwide.
- Updated Design: Our digital signage displays have undergone a design overhaul, boasting a sleek, modern look. The updated interface is not only more visually appealing but also user-friendly, ensuring that information is displayed in a more engaging and accessible manner.
- Custom Logo Upload: Reinforce your brand identity with the custom logo upload feature. Users can now upload their organization's logo to be prominently displayed on the digital signage. This enhancement not only boosts brand visibility but also adds a professional touch to your displays.
- Custom Digital Signage Text: Enhance your digital signage with personalized title or welcome messages. Users can now craft custom titles for their digital signage screens, adding a personal touch or specific instructions. This feature is perfect for welcoming visitors, announcing special events, or providing daily updates in a clear, engaging manner.
- Live Weather Feed Specific to Location with Celsius/Fahrenheit Selector: Stay updated with real-time weather information tailored to your specific location. This feature provides live weather updates directly on your digital signage, with the flexibility to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit units. It's an excellent tool for keeping everyone informed about the day's weather conditions.
- Orientation Toggle: Switch seamlessly between portrait and landscape modes in our digital signage. This feature offers greater flexibility in how content is displayed, making it ideal for various settings and screen types. Whether you need a tall, eye-catching portrait display or a wide, panoramic view, this toggle ensures your digital signage meets your specific requirements.
- Ability to Hide Top Right Date Info: For a cleaner and more focused display, users can now choose to hide the date information usually displayed in the top right corner of the screen. This option allows for more space to showcase important content or simply to adhere to minimalist design preferences.
- Custom Media Albums: This new feature allows users to select custom folders from which to display images on their StoriiCare digital signage displays. This update is particularly useful for displaying different image content to different areas of a community. (e.g. Displaying photo content of Residents specific to a floor or wing of a senior living community)
- Event Duration and Location Labels: Enhancements have been made to the event list view. Now, when a duration is assigned to an activity, it will conveniently display right beneath the start time. Additionally, if a location is specified for the event, this detail will be prominently shown just below the event name.

➡ Services Updates
When creating or editing a service, in the participant selection view, you have the option to assign 'specific settings' to each participant. To do this, select the 'No specific settings' option to make changes.
Within this view, you will have the option to set specific Service validity for a participant. This is particularly useful if they are only approved for a service half-way through the month, or their approval ends on a specific date.
You are also able to assign validity for specific days and times. (E.g. a participant may only be approved for a service on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, after 9am)
This will ensure that no fees will be applied to generated calculations & invoices for dates or specific days in which a participant is not eligible.
➡ Smaller Key Updates
- Download Form Builder Background PDF's - You can now download the PDF you have uploaded as the background to a form in the form builder via the Form Settings view. This is helpful if you want to make edits to the background PDF - make any changes, delete the existing background PDF and upload your updated PDF.
- Holiday Easter Egg! - Type 'let it snow' anywhere on StoriiCare when logged in. Enjoy! (Type it again to go back to normal!)
- Bug Fixes - We've carried out a number of key bug fixes, platform stability upgrades and speed improvements this month. Thank you to all clients that have reported any issues we may have not automatically detected!

As the StoriiCare product suite expands, we want to take time in each Product Update to revisit existing features to remind clients of the value they offer. See this month's Top Tips below:
- The StoriiCare Register App! The register app enables easy tablet sign-in/out via QR Code or PIN Code, The traditional method of signing an individual in/out via our StoriiCare Register feature is still fully accessible and may still be used by staff if preferred.
