Introducing Our New Billing Feature!
We're thrilled to announce the release of our latest feature that's set to revolutionize the way you bill your clients and manage your finances within StoriiCare. We've listened to your feedback and have worked diligently to bring you the first component of a comprehensive billing solution tailored to your needs.
With clients across multiple countries, currencies, tax rates and billing cycles, we've been working to ensure our billing component can be customized to suit your specific requirements. We also wanted to ensure our solution was fully accessible on all devices - we're happy to share that Billing can be used across any device, desktop or mobile, including our iOS and Android Apps.
Why This Matters:
- Efficiency: Streamline your billing processes, reduce manual tasks, and save valuable time by using one platform for all your needs.
- Accuracy: Ensure that every invoice and payment is accurately recorded and matched.
- Flexibility: Cater to diverse client needs with the ability to manage and account for multiple payer types.
Our first billing release has a new dedicated section in the navigation tab in which Billing functionality and data will be stored within StoriiCare.
Within the Billing feature there are currently 7 tabs:
Designed with clarity and convenience in mind, the summary view provides a snapshot of your most crucial financial metrics, ensuring you're always informed and in control.
Key Features of the Summary Page:
- Open Invoices: Stay on top of your receivables with a real-time count of all open invoices (overdue, unpaid and overpaid) as of today. No more sifting through endless lists or spreadsheets; get an instant overview of what's outstanding.
- Payments Overview: Gain insights into your cash flow with a dedicated section that showcases all payments received in the last 30 days. This feature not only helps you monitor your income but also aids in forecasting and budgeting.
- Recent Activity Stream: Keep a pulse on all billing-related actions with the Recent Activity feed. Whether it's a newly generated invoice, a payment received, or any other relevant activity, you'll be notified immediately, ensuring you never miss a beat.
Providing a comprehensive view of all invoices, this view ensures you can easy identify paid, unpaid or voided invoices.
Key Features of the Invoice Page:
- Add, Edit, or Void Invoices: Whether you're creating a new invoice, making modifications to an existing one, or need to void an invoice altogether, our interface ensures a seamless experience.
- Custom Categories & Descriptions: Tailor your invoices to your specific needs by adding custom categories and descriptions. This feature ensures clarity and specificity for both you and your clients.
- Flexible Tax Rates & Quantities: Cater to diverse billing requirements by setting custom tax rates and quantities for each invoice item. Whether you're dealing with varying tax jurisdictions or different service quantities, we've got you covered.
- Dynamic Discounts: Offer special rates or discounts to your clients with ease. Whether it's a promotional discount, a loyalty reward, or any other kind of concession, our system allows for any type of discount.
- Multiple Charges & Payers: Recognizing the complexity of modern billing, our Invoice Page supports the addition of multiple charges or payers to a single invoice. This is especially useful for clients with multiple funding sources or for services that involve multiple chargeable components.
6. Print Custom Invoices: Generate an invoice PDF that showcases your custom logo, contact information, and payment details. The PDF includes a remittance slip section, making it convenient for clients to send along key details with any check payments.
The Payment view provides a simple display of all payments that have been logged within StoriiCare.
Key Features of the Payments Page:
- Unified Payments: Say goodbye to toggling between multiple tabs or pages. The Payments Page lists all your transactions in one comprehensive view, allowing for quick scanning and efficient management.
- Void Unreconciled Payments: Mistakes happen, and we've got you covered. Any payment that has not yet been reconciled can be easily voided directly from the Payments Page. This ensures that your records remain accurate and up-to-date.
- Reconciliation Indicator: To further simplify your financial management, each payment on the list is clearly marked to indicate its reconciliation status. This visual cue helps you quickly identify which transactions need your attention.
Participants / Service Users
This view displays a list of all participants, their balance and their corresponding payers.
Key Features of the Participants Page:
- Comprehensive Participant List: At a glance, view all participants registered within your StoriiCare account. This consolidated list ensures easy navigation and efficient management.
- Real-Time Balance Overview: For each participant, their current balance is prominently displayed, allowing for quick financial assessments and timely interventions if needed.
- Associated Payers Information: Understand the financial ecosystem of each participant with a clear view of their associated payers. This feature aids in seamless billing and ensures that all financial stakeholders are kept in the loop.
- Edit Payers Directly: Flexibility is key. From the Participants Page, you can directly edit payer information, ensuring that all details are current and accurate without the need to navigate away.
The Payers view helps you easily identify payer balances, open invoices and how many participants each payer is connected to.

- Complete List of Payers: Easily view and manage all registered payers in one consolidated list, ensuring you have a clear picture of all financial contributors.
- Connection to Participants: For each payer, see the exact number of participants they are connected to. This provides clarity on the scope of their financial involvement and aids in communication and billing processes.
- Open Invoices Overview: Stay informed about the financial commitments of each payer with a clear count of their open invoices. This ensures timely follow-ups and efficient invoice management.
- Tally of Unpaid Invoices: Financial clarity is paramount. With the unpaid invoices tally, you can quickly gauge the outstanding amounts associated with each payer, aiding in financial planning and decision-making.
This Services view helps you list all the services you provide, which can be used in billing calculations.
Key Features of the Services Page:
- Comprehensive Service Listing: View and manage all the services you offer in one consolidated space. Whether you provide daily, weekly, or specialized services, they're all neatly organized for your convenience.
- Customizable Recurrences: Cater to diverse billing needs by setting specific recurrences for each service. Whether a service is billed daily, weekly, or monthly, you have the flexibility to define it.
- Flexible Billing Rates: Assign specific billing rates to each service, ensuring that you always charge accurately for the value you provide.
- Rounding Rules: Eliminate discrepancies and ensure precision with customizable rounding rules. Whether you round up, down, or to the nearest value, our system ensures that every calculation aligns with your preferences.
- Seamless Integration with Invoices: The calculations derived from the Services Page can be used within our invoices. This ensures that your billing is not only accurate but also streamlined and efficient.

- Customizable Invoice, Discount and Tax rate Categories: Every business has its unique set of services and offerings. With our platform, you can easily define and customize categories, linking to our lists feature, to reflect the diverse range of services you provide.
